Our client’s Economic Advisory team of over 30 Economists, is now looking to expand significantly on its existing economics practice to capture exciting opportunities, particularly within the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. As a result, they are looking for skilled post-graduates or equivalent professionals with experience in economics to grow the team to the next level.
The Economics Advisory team provide deep sector knowledge with strong technical skills in economics, econometrics and quantitative analysis to address key issues in strategy, regulation, competition, planning, valuation and government policy.
Technical skills requirements
Suitable applicants will be highly numerate and analytical with experience as economist/corporate planner in the telecommunications, media and technology industries employed in the private, regulatory or the public policy sector.
For these roles, it would be advantageous to have knowledge of any of the following:
- Strong academic and professional background in Economics, Business or Industrial Economics or Econometrics.
- Experience of competition and regulatory economics, strategy, business planning, costing and pricing
- Experience of applying economic theory to the development and evaluation of public and regulatory policy
- Experience of economic impact assessment
