The role:
Working within a small team you will report to the Regulation Director and will be responsible for:- Developing effective strategies to improve the company's comparative performance;
- Helping to develop the organisation's regulatory policy;
- Building, maintaining and developing econometric models;
- Forging key stakeholder relationships, liaising closely with external bodies including OFGEM;
- Playing a key part in the organisation's pricing review, which is critical to the revenue of the company; and
- Liaising closely with other internal departments, including senior management and the CEO.
The Candidate:
A candidate applying for this position should:- Be an excellent communicator and able to liaise, influence and negotiate at all levels;
- Be detail conscious, professional and flexible;
- Hold a degree in Economics or an MBA;
- Have econometric/financial modelling experience and/or experience in statistical analysis;
- Have experience or knowledge of corporate finance principles; and
- Experience within a utility regulatory environment would be an advantage but not essential.
